First morning in Singapore

What a great feeling to be here and not have to stress about getting to the office, replicating mail back to Houston server, double-check meetings/calendars, etc., etc.
Went out for early morning run along the river and watched everyone else in motion; wow I could really get used to this. Yes, I did go for a run, and back seems to be holding up pretty well.
So about this blogging business. Questions I have are "what does one write about"? "what would anyone else want to read about"? "Can I print it when I get home"? Any feedback on the above most appreciated.
Probably would be good to link in some pics. Here's some travel photos -->

Chicago Airport - love the underground art

Building "Kinder Eggs" and charging iPods in HongKong airport

Finally arriving in the Taxi "queue" in Singapore 30 hours later:

Landed in Singapore -- at Passport control

Am looking over down onto the passport control line ... no rush ... hundreds of weary travellers, but there's lots of buzz up at the free internet terminals.
Here are some stats: 27 hours from first take-off to last touch-down. Total door-to-door time still to be calculated...
Better go get in that line, the troops are gettin restless... come on Mom,.,, what are your doing???

In transit in Hong Kong

Loooooong flight from Chicago to Hong Kong... feels even longer in economy. It was 15 hrs due to strong winds over the north pole. Everything going smooth as glass. On time flights, great movies on the plane. well, except for the guy in front of us who was suffering from some ailment that involved lots of air sick bag fillings and noisy wretching. Thank goodness for trusty ear plugs.
Feels very good to be on the ground in Asia. Good memories instantly evoked by sounds of the language and smells of the food.
Just 4 more hours to Singapore and then we are firmly on the ground.
Hope to figure out how to attch pics at the Smiths in Singapore.
More from the next stop. Lynn
