balmoral - by daniel

yesterday our whole family went to balmoral park. the condos we used to live in while we lived here in singapore. it was a very eerie feeling driving up the big slope right after the gate and pulling up to the front lobby. vijay was still there and he greeted us just like we had never left. we then went up to the pool area and took a nice long swim. the pool has not changed that much, just the outside surroundings or it. the place where i used to play soccer just next to the pool now has many more trees and bushes on it. and other things such as that.
next heidi and i explored the apartments and met some people who were there when we were and almost everyone recognized us as the children of the "texans". we then went and had dinner with our friend tad mulder and we hung out at his house.

Hi Krausteds!,

Great blogging from your side. It really awakes a lot of good memories. The kids are growing but at least one can recognize them.

In Munich life goes on. The kids just finished school at the end of June. Ingrid, Sophia and Johan went the first week to Sweden for a while to take care of Ingrid's father who has ALS.

Jacob spent 4-6 hours/day practicing tennis for the last two weeks. He went to France this Monday and managed to bring my passport with him so I couldn't travel to Dubai as planned. I am sooo sorry for that .

Cool photos and blog! It sounds like you are having a great time revisiting Singapore. I haven’t had the get up and go to think about getting back over there for a visit. I’m trying to get to Italy for a solo vacation this fall with Barbara Myers… they are living in Moscow right now! Have a great rest of your trip, and we’ll check out the blog again!
